A Bit of Background

How We Got Started

I started breeding these wonderful animals in 2019, although I've loved and raised Labradors for the last 13 years.

After acquiring a lot of information about the breeding process, we decided to do our part in preserving it. The first Labrador I ever owned had many health and temperament issues many of which could have been prevented by proper genetic health testing. She suffered from EIC, hip dysplasia, allergies, vision loss, cancer and many skin conditions. Seeing her suffer most of her life was heart breaking and from then on I decided to strive the absolute best I can to improve the Labrador breed standard. By doing DNA health testing, certifying hips, elbows and eyes by OFA greatly reduces the chances of passing genetic disorders along to the offspring. Labradors are truly amazing and deserve the best life possible.

I enjoy many activities with my dogs including shed antler hunting, truffle mushroom hunting, hiking, fishing and rock hounding. I strongly enforce obedience and well mannered dogs. I start training from an early age to ensure the best start possible. At the age of 8 weeks old my dogs are learning basic commands such their name, the word no, sit, go potty, go in your crate, and no jumping. Consistency is the key to a successful well trained obedient pooch. At 10 weeks I start teaching stay, lay down, come and general manners such as no begging. I gradually add more commands along with leash training and also a  few fun tricks over the course of several months. I use everyday situations as a training tool such as a sit stay command while I open a gate or door. A trained dog is a happy dog!
